Objective:
In my previous life as a jewelry designer, I made this one of a kind ring for a special client. Once I learned 3D modeling and animation, I decided to make a similar ring into both a 3D printable model, with an accompanying animation.
Process:
The ring was modeled using a spline and a sweep in order to refine the curves. The biggest challenge was adjusting the curves to have the perfect balance of composition and to be without lumps, both in the printable model and in the animation.
